Refund Policy
Deutsche Version: Erstattungsrichtlinie · Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. The short version
If an extension is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of the charge and you get your money back. You do not need to give a reason. This applies to a first purchase and to a renewal alike.
2. Who issues the refund
Our extensions are sold through Paddle.com Market Limited (30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom), or the company in its group that applies where you bought from — Paddle.com Inc. in the United States, Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd in Canada. Whichever applies (“Paddle”) acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle took your payment and issued your invoice, so Paddle also issues the refund, back to the payment method you used.
You can ask either of us. The fastest route is the customer portal — enter your email address and Paddle emails you a sign-in link. You can also reply to the receipt Paddle sent you, or write to us at [email protected] and we will arrange it.
Once approved, the money is returned to your original payment method. How quickly it appears depends on your bank or card issuer, and is usually a few business days.
3. Your statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days.
For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery has begun, provided you expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal. Paddle asks for that agreement at checkout, so for most purchases the statutory right lapses as soon as we send your credentials.
Our 14-day policy in section 1 is given voluntarily and applies regardless. It exists precisely so that the loss of the statutory right does not leave you stuck with something you cannot use. Your other statutory rights — for example where the extension is defective — are not affected by anything here.
4. Renewals
A subscription renews automatically each year, and Paddle notifies you before it charges. If a renewal catches you out, ask within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full and cancel the subscription.
To stop a renewal before it happens, cancel in the customer portal at any time. Cancelling does not shorten the term you have already paid for.
5. After 14 days
Beyond the 14-day window we do not refund unused time on a subscription — cancelling stops the next renewal instead. If something is broken, though, talk to us before asking for a refund: a defect in one of our extensions is our problem to fix, and fixing it is usually faster than a refund.
6. What happens to your licence
A refund ends the licence it paid for. When one is issued we withdraw access to the Composer repository for that product, and you must stop using the extension and remove it from your store.
This is the one difference from an ordinary cancellation: cancelling leaves you with the versions released during the term you paid for, whereas a refund means that term was not paid for after all.
7. Abuse
We may decline a refund where the same product is repeatedly bought and refunded, or where a licence has plainly been used in production well beyond an evaluation. We would rather talk to you first — this is here for the rare case, not as a hurdle.
8. Questions
Write to [email protected]. A real person reads it.
